Vulnerability is a term that scares many, including myself.

We don’t want to be viewed as vulnerable because we are fearful of the wrong people taking advantage of us. We place fences around us, sometimes too high, out of fear of invasion but don’t realize that we also have a tendency to block blessings from entering our lives.

Last year, I’ve learned that the true art of growth is based in selective vulnerability. Understanding that the vulnerability is not the issue, it’s the knowing when to be vulnerable. It’s knowing who to be vulnerable with. Who do we trust with our livelihood? Who can help us become the best versions of ourselves?

Let’s be vulnerable to everything that 2019 has to offer.
